I think my radio meets the codes and conventions of a radio show , it includes a catchy jingle which flows well and uses the same beats to keep in line with the genre of the show. I have included an archive sound clip of a clip from a comedy show. My jingle lasts for about 12 seconds which means its not too long and doesnt drag on therefore keeping the audiences attention. I think i could have done my talking clip a bit better as when i recorded it, i had some other noises in the background so the clip didnt come out as it should of. I also could have made it sound more realistic to a radio show, as it didnt really fit in well.
I think my radio show represents particularly younger people becuase of the beats i have used, which are sort of electric and sound like something a young person might listen too as its very up beat. Id say mostly teenagers from about 15 +. If my radio show was to be distributed, it would probably have to go on a young radio show like radio 1 which appeals to younger people however my genre would probably have to change to a music radio show to fit in with radio 1s music channel.
By doing this project i have learned how to use garageband to produce a track. I have used tools including the loops, spliting my clips and changing the volume levels on my tracks.
If i was to change anything on my radio show it would probably be the talking and archive sound clip i inclueded as i didnt think it was that good and didnt fit in with the particular beats i chose to put in my radio jingle even though overall it did flow quite well.

My Sound Clip
I used garageband to make my sound clip. The eye symbol below the tracks brings up the menu of loops, i used most of these beats and sound clips to create my radio jingle plus my own recordings for my talking. I used mostly hip hops beats and quite upbeat clips to create it. I would say that the target audience is younger people and the genre is a comedy show.

You preview the clip you want to have on your jingle and then drag and drop them where you want them to be played. Its split into categories, for example; beats, kits and guitars or cheerful and electonric. Its easier to stick to the same sort of sounds to make your jingle sound and flow better.

To edit my radio i had to cut from the sound clips, for example in my audio clip it had an unclear part to it so i used split to cut the clip down and make it sound better. This made my radio flow well as the speaking was clearer and wasnt any gaps or interfearance inbetween the talking.
Underneath the name of the track you can also change the volume manually, to get the sound levels all the same or to make somthing quiter to avoid the track becoming distorted
